Our societies are built on stories. The tales we tell shape our thoughts and actions, which create our present and future. As we strive for a better, more equitable and sustainable future, our stories must reflect the entire spectrum of humanity – including youth voices. Through an ever-broader range of stories, we can celebrate what we have achieved and shine a light on the gaps between the ideal and the real world. In sharing such stories, we can inspire action and continue our journey towards a tomorrow in which we can all thrive - together.
The Untold Tales Youth Writing Competition is an invitation for young people to tell authentic, truthful stories that reveal issues which need to be discussed and highlight the importance of human rights as well as the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
A panel of judges, listed below, will read and assess all entries in terms of writing skill, as well as telling of important untold tales.
Sadly, we will not be taking submissions at this time.
